Atlanta Horror Society Meetup Celebrates Horror with Filmmakers and Horror Enthusiast
It’s not just watching horror; it’s a full-on fan experience.
Atlanta Horror Society meetups are interactive horror events where fans come together to celebrate cult classics, share knowledge, and have an insanely fun night with likeminded people. Instead of sitting quietly through a movie, we turn the evening into a live, communal horror hangout. We pause, we talk, we joke, give prizes, we learn, and we celebrate the films that made us horror lovers in the first place.
At our themed meetups, you can expect:
Live commentary and discussion
Interactive audience Q&A
Horror trivia with prizes
Deep dives into stunts, kills, and practical effects
Behind-the-scenes insights and “How did they do that?” moments
A room full of horror fans reacting, laughing, and geeking out together
Our next meetup:
Join us January 29 at 8 PM for a special film topic New Year’s Evil (fair use commentary track) as an educational horror topic event. We’ll be temporarily taking over Boggs Social & Supply while Mambo settles into their new space, a perfect chance to check out a new KILLER spot and still get the full AHS experience.
Expect slasher talk, interactive commentary, Q&A, trivia, prizes, and all the movie-magic deep dives that make our meetups different from a typical movie night.
If you love horror, practical effects, trivia, and being in a crowd that actually gets it, this is your kind of night.
