Gas Hound's upcoming single, "The Wind & The Rain" b/w "Street Admiral/ A True Warrior," set for release on 7.17.26, is a poetic medley written in collaboration with Joseph Faul (Cicada Rhythm, The Titos), who helmed the project as the main guitarist, executive producer, composer and recording engineer.  The track serves as Faul's debut as a burgeoning recording engineer and fixture of Atlanta's ever expanding multiverse of home spun studios. When Faul enlisted Benjamin J. Davidow of Gas Hound to contribute, the song quickly took shape with Davidow carving out melodically driven lyrical elements that range between spoken word poetry, swooning Pink Floyd-esque psychedelic harmonic pads and hard-hitting, Shellac-inspired lead vocals. Additionally, Faul assembled a super group of local and national musicians from a range of dynamic genres, aiding the ethereal sonic journey that pulses and pulls between astral bliss and acrid agony. Faul's line up consists of percussionist Paul Stevens (Bizner, Moloq, Slow Parade), bassist Jared Pepper (Lily & The Tigers, Rose Hotel), assistant producer and mixing engineer Tony Aparo (Improvement Movement) and Chicago's own famed mastering engineer for Sub Pop, Matador Records, Anti- and many more, Greg Obis.

This tournament will be 1v1 (Singles) and 2v2 (Doubles) in Super Smash Bros Melee for Nintendo Gamecube / Wii.
Event is 21+.

Please do not ask about other Super Smash Bros games, as we do not consider them real games.

BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER. WE DO NOT PROVIDE CONTROLLERS. WHAT ARE WE? MADE OF CONTROLLERS?
We do, however, have SEVERAL CHAIRS!

DO NOT SHOW UP if you are feeling sick, no one's got time for that!

Disqualification Policy
If you have not checked in by the time a bracket has been generated, you will be disqualified. We can work with you for a refund if you've already paid, but it's simply not fair for everyone in attendance to reseed and regenerate an entire bracket to accommodate a single person.

Once called, you will have approximately 30 minutes to play a match before being disqualified and receiving a loss for the match. This is solely at our discretion, so please play matches as quickly as possible.

We reserve to right to disqualify you and have you removed from the venue by everyone in attendance for inappropriate behavior.

A pot bonus will be added to Melee Singles once the event reaches a certain number of entrants.

It was twenty-five years ago that most fans first came across mc chris when Adult Swim premiered on September 2nd , 2001.

The first album was free for download on a website most OG fans found in the credits of a random Sealab episode. After five years of working for Cartoon Network during the day and making mc chris music at night, mc took a chance, quit his job and headed out on the road. He found packed venues filled with nerdy kids who knew all the words. Twenty years later he’s still at it, playing the same venues, singing along with the same kids, who are now in their thirties. The only difference is now they’ve either brought their kids or given themselves a much-needed night off. This year mc celebrates 25 years in existence and a new Marvel inspired album, King in Black.

mc chris is most widely known for his reccurring character MC P Pants on Adult Swim’s Aqua Teen Hunger Force where he was also an animator and writer. He’s been featured in the Aqua Teen movie, the video game, and most recently on a series of You Tube videos called Aqua Donk Side Pieces. He’s also starred on several Adult Swim series including The Brak Show and Sealab 2021. A pioneer of the hip hop subgenre Nerdcore, mc chris has worked with Talib Kweli, Andrew WK, and Donald Glover. His fans include the likes of Gerard Way, Post Malone and T-Pain and he was even sampled by Run the Jewels for the latest Aqua Teen movie Plantasm. He’s toured with Reggie and Full Effect, and Ninja Sex Party, performed on the Warped Tour and The Gathering of the Juggalos, appeared on a GWAR album, and even had his own Honda commercial. You truly never know where he’s going to pop up.

He’s a full-time single father to his son, Tony, and lives in Los Angeles.
