Atlanta Horror Society Meetups – Not Just a Movie Night AHS Trivia Championship Continues!
Bring your team and earn points toward becoming our 2026 Horror Trivia Champion!
Join the Atlanta Horror Society on Thursday, July 30 at 8:00 PM for a FREE night of horror discussion, trivia, and filmmaking fun. This month we're featuring local filmmaker Jake Frost and his horror short Mr. Midnight, followed by a deep dive into one of the greatest horror sequels ever made, Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.
Enjoy behind-the-scenes discussion, audience participation, horror trivia, prizes, and great company as we celebrate both independent horror filmmaking and one of Freddy Krueger's most beloved outings.
ABOUT AHS MEETUPS
Join the Atlanta Horror Society for a FREE event (with optional donations) and experience horror like never before! We're now accepting optional donations online and at the door, with all proceeds going directly to our featured filmmaker to help fund their next project. Each month, we're spotlighting our Local Horror Filmmaker of the Month, giving them the chance to screen their work and share their vision with our community. Let's lift up Atlanta horror together!
Each meetup also features a chosen film topic, where we pick a favorite horror film or director and dive deep into their work. You'll get to network with other fans, discuss practical effects, storytelling, creature design, memorable kills, and the impact these films have had on the horror genre. It's a chance to geek out over horror classics, discover new filmmakers, and connect with people who are just as obsessed with horror as you are.
AHS meetups are more than just a screening; they're a full fan experience. Expect live commentary, audience Q&A, horror trivia and games with prizes, behind-the-scenes deep dives, plus music and drinks to keep the vibes going. It's a room full of horror lovers celebrating cult classics, practical effects, and the creative minds behind Atlanta horror. If you love filmmaking, talk, trivia, and meeting fans who get it, come hang with us. It's going to be a killer night.
